The student’s life at the college of law- University of Baghdad characterized by diversity, as students study multiple legal subjects, including the theory of Civil Law, Commercial Law, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Administrative Law and international law, as well as students participate in discussions and seminars related to current legal issues, and many student activities are held, such as legal competitions and legal workshops. Students can also join some legal events to expand their knowledge and Exchange legal ideas with their colleagues.
The college of law at the University of Baghdad, in addition to academic study, provides practical opportunities for students to gain legal experience, especially in the field of law and the judiciary
Students participate in many student activities, including festivals, painting exhibitions, sports activities, and hone their talents and develop their staff to ensure their involvement in society and the labor market later, that the opportunities available at the college greatly help in understanding the cultural diversities and positive points of view carried by students from their multiple origins.
As the college of Law/ University of Baghdad and the lecturers and administrative staff adopts the support of the (people with special needs) segment, providing them with full support and deals with them humanely, as well as facilitates their affairs and needs by directing the follow-up division by the Deanship of the college to pay attention to their transactions and deliver them to administrative divisions and units, whether it concerns its employees, or students of primary and graduate studies, The college of law has formed a committee for this matter by the staff to help people with special needs(from competent and blind women) to write the exam material for them, and this interest comes out of belief in the importance of achieving security and stability in our beloved Iraq.
