{"id":9651,"date":"2026-05-09T10:15:07","date_gmt":"2026-05-09T10:15:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.colaw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=9651"},"modified":"2026-05-13T16:23:33","modified_gmt":"2026-05-13T16:23:33","slug":"the-university-of-baghdad-college-of-law-held-the-international-conference-on-the-system-of-sharia-codes-and-their-role-in-regulating-family-legal-rulings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.colaw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=9651","title":{"rendered":"College of Law at the University of Baghdad Holds the International Conference on the System of Legal Codes and Their Role in Regulating Family Legal Provisions"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">University of Baghdad\u2019s College of Law, in cooperation with Al-Nahrain University\u2019s College of Law and Imam Jaafar Al-Sadiq University\u2019s College of Law, held the international conference entitled \u201cThe International Conference on the System of Legal Codes and Their Role in Regulating Family Legal Provisions\u201d on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Imam Jaafar Al-Sadiq University.<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The conference was organized under the slogan:<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cLegal Codes: A Jurisprudential and Legal Integration for the Protection of the Family and the Promotion of Justice,\u201d<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">with the participation of a distinguished group of academics, researchers, and specialists in legal and jurisprudential studies.<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The conference commenced with the Iraqi national anthem, followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha in memory of Iraq\u2019s martyrs, in an academic atmosphere reflecting national belonging and commemorating the sacrifices of the martyrs.<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The conference included two academic sessions featuring a number of legal and jurisprudential studies and research papers related to legal codes and their role in regulating family legal provisions.
