The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Law, University of Baghdad, organized a scientific workshop entitled \u201cThe Optimal Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools in Scientific Research.\u201d The workshop was delivered by lecturer Ms. Zeina Rajab Hussein on Sunday, 19 April 2026, in the college\u2019s Moot Court Hall.<\/span><\/h3>\n

The workshop aimed to introduce participants to methods of employing artificial intelligence technologies in developing the research process, contributing to the improvement of scientific output quality while saving time and effort. It also highlighted the ethical and legal aspects associated with the use of these technologies in order to preserve academic integrity.<\/span><\/h3>\n

The workshop covered several key topics, most notably digital research investigation strategies using AI tools as an advanced alternative to traditional search engines, mechanisms for analyzing scientific literature and identifying research gaps, as well as the use of modern applications for paraphrasing and improving the quality of academic texts.<\/span><\/h3>\n

It also addressed methods of visual design for presentations, in addition to introducing tools for detecting AI-generated texts and strengthening standards of academic originality.<\/span><\/h3>\n

At the conclusion of the workshop, several recommendations were issued, the most important of which were the need to adopt clear institutional policies regulating the use of AI in scientific research, develop researchers\u2019 skills in Prompt Engineering, emphasize the importance of careful human review and source verification, and continue organizing such workshops to keep pace with rapid developments in this field.<\/span><\/h3>\n
