{"id":9346,"date":"2026-02-25T17:51:34","date_gmt":"2026-02-25T17:51:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.colaw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=9346"},"modified":"2026-02-25T17:51:34","modified_gmt":"2026-02-25T17:51:34","slug":"college-of-law-university-of-baghdad-organizes-a-workshop-on-civil-judiciary-and-its-role-in-filling-legislative-gaps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.colaw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=9346","title":{"rendered":"College of Law, University of Baghdad Organizes a Workshop on Civil Judiciary and Its Role in Filling Legislative Gaps"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Law \u2013 University of Baghdad organized a scientific workshop on Monday, 23\/2\/2026, at the College of Law building, entitled \u201cThe Civil Judiciary and Its Role in Filling Legislative Gaps.\u201d The workshop was presented by the Head of the Private Law Department, Associate Professor Dr. Amer Ghanem Alwan, and was attended by postgraduate students.<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The workshop aimed to examine the role played by the Iraqi civil judiciary in filling legislative gaps by analyzing the legal mechanisms adopted by civil judges when legal provisions are absent or insufficient.
