The Dean of the College of Law at the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Ali Atiyah Al-Hilali, chaired the third scientific session of the Conference on Developing Legal Studies in Egyptian and Arab Universities, held on Monday, December 8, 2025, with the participation of a distinguished group of professors and researchers from various Arab countries.<\/span><\/h3>\n

The session discussed a number of specialized research papers focusing on the development of legal education curricula and the modernization of law teaching methods. This included evaluating recent trends in legal education, enhancing students\u2019 research and practical skills, and reviewing prominent Arab experiences in this field.<\/span><\/h3>\n

The session featured several scholarly papers addressing key themes, most notably:<\/span><\/h3>\n

1.Modern trends in developing legal education.<\/span><\/h3>\n

2.The evolution of the right to education and its impact on legal studies.<\/span><\/h3>\n

3.Legal linguistics and its role in updating curricula.<\/span><\/h3>\n

4.Legal education between theory and practical application.<\/span><\/h3>\n

5.Legal clinics and practical training as pathways for methodological development.<\/span><\/h3>\n

6.The development of legal studies in Egyptian universities.<\/span><\/h3>\n

At the conclusion of the session, Professor Dr. Al-Hilali praised the scholarly contributions presented and the insightful perspectives they offered in advancing the legal educational system. He emphasized the importance of strengthening Arab academic cooperation and its role in developing curricula and modernizing legal education methods to meet the demands of contemporary legal realities.<\/span><\/h3>\n
