The College of Law \u2013 University of Baghdad discussed a PhD dissertation entitled:<\/span><\/strong>
\u201cConflicts of Interest in the Board of Directors of Joint-Stock Companies: A Comparative Study\u201d by the student Ali Amer Hassan, at the Private Law Department, in the college\u2019s conference hall.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

    The dissertation aimed to focus on conflicts of interest in the decision-making of the board of directors of joint-stock companies, where personal interests may outweigh the interests of the company and its shareholders, emphasizing the need to provide adequate legal protection for the company.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

    The dissertation consisted of three chapters:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
