{"id":8955,"date":"2025-12-22T10:40:49","date_gmt":"2025-12-22T10:40:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.colaw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=8955"},"modified":"2025-12-22T10:43:29","modified_gmt":"2025-12-22T10:43:29","slug":"college-of-law-university-of-baghdad-organizes-a-scientific-seminar-entitled-constitutional-developments-in-iraq-a-comparative-study-of-constitutional-judiciary-rulings-under-the-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.colaw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=8955","title":{"rendered":"College of Law \u2013 University of Baghdad Organizes a Scientific Seminar Entitled \u201cConstitutional Developments in Iraq: A Comparative Study of Constitutional Judiciary Rulings under the 1925 and 2005 Constitutions\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Emphasizing the importance of constitutional judiciary as a fundamental guarantee for safeguarding the Constitution and protecting public rights and freedoms, the Public Law Branch at the College of Law \u2013 University of Baghdad organized a scientific seminar entitled \u201cConstitutional Developments in Iraq: A Comparative Study of Constitutional Judiciary Rulings under the 1925 and 2005 Constitutions.\u201d The seminar was delivered by Professor Dr. Maha Bahjat Younis in the Model Court Hall on Tuesday, 18\/11\/2025, and was attended by faculty members, postgraduate students, and undergraduate students.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>The seminar aimed to conduct an analytical comparison between the general provisions governing constitutional judiciary in the two constitutions, in order to identify the nature of the developments witnessed in the constitutional organization of this institution and to clarify points of similarity and difference between the two frameworks.
