The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Law \u2013 University of Baghdad organized a workshop on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, titled \u201cImplementing the Bologna Process at the College of Law \u2013 University of Baghdad\u201d, held in the college\u2019s conference hall.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The workshop was presented by Prof. Dr. Jalil Hassan Bashat, Assistant Dean for Scientific and Teaching Affairs, and Eng. Zeina Rajab Hussein.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The workshop aimed to introduce the Bologna Process and highlight its importance in developing university education, explain the mechanism for colleges to join this process, and demonstrate how to manage faculty personal profiles and register courses within the system.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The workshop covered several key topics, including:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 \u00a0General explanation of the concepts and objectives of the Bologna Process.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 \u00a0Procedures for faculty registration in the system.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 \u00a0Managing the personal profile of faculty members.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

4.\u00a0 \u00a0The credit system and course registration process.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

At the conclusion of the workshop, several recommendations were made, including:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 \u00a0Organizing multiple workshops to enhance understanding and implementation of the Bologna Process.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 \u00a0Exchanging experiences with colleges that have previously implemented the system.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 \u00a0Developing curricula in line with the requirements of the Bologna Process.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

4.\u00a0 \u00a0Training and qualifying teaching and administrative staff to ensure effective implementation of the new system.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
