The session took place in the Moot Court Hall of the college.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">The discussion committee consisted of the following faculty members:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Prof. Dr. Ammar Taher Muhammad (Chairman)<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Prof. Dr. Musadaq Adel Talib (Member)<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Prof. Dr. Ayat Salman Shehab (Member)<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Asst. Prof. Dr. Taghreed Muhammad Qadouri (Member)<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Asst. Prof. Dr. Sara Harith Abdul Karim (Member)<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Prof. Dr. Maha Bahjat Younis (Member and Supervisor)<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">The dissertation aimed to shed light on the extent of constitutional protection granted to the freedom of practicing journalistic and media work within the framework of contemporary Arab legislations across various regions.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">The dissertation included three chapters:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Chapter One: The Nature of Freedom of the Press and Media and Its Legal Foundations in Arab Constitutions<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Chapter Two: The Legal Foundations of Freedom of the Press and Media at the International, Regional, and National Levels<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Chapter Three: Legislative Organization and Philosophy of Freedom of the Press and Media in Arab Countries<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">The dissertation concluded with several key recommendations, including:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">The unification of regulatory frameworks governing journalism and media across Arab legislations, especially concerning restrictions, authorities, and privileges, through regional organizations such as the Arab League, to regulate media outputs and organize the functioning of press and media institutions.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Recommending the Arab and Iraqi legislators to amend laws related to guaranteeing the practice of journalistic and media freedoms in alignment with international and regional declarations, treaties, and agreements, reflecting their impact on democratic practice within constitutional frameworks.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]<div id=\"cz8625\" class=\"cz8625 slick arrows_mlr no_dots\"
