{"id":6814,"date":"2025-05-13T17:02:47","date_gmt":"2025-05-13T17:02:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.colaw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=6814"},"modified":"2025-05-13T17:02:47","modified_gmt":"2025-05-13T17:02:47","slug":"the-college-of-law-discusses-a-doctoral-dissertation-on-the-administrative-regulation-of-property-rights","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.colaw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=6814","title":{"rendered":"The College of Law Discusses a Doctoral Dissertation on the Administrative Regulation of Property Rights."},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">The College of Law at the University of Baghdad discussed a doctoral dissertation titled \u201cThe Administrative Regulation of Property Rights as a Means of Protecting Public Order\u201d, by Elaf Saeed Majid, in the Public Law, on Monday, May 5, 2025, in the college&#8217;s conference hall.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">The examination committee consisted of the following members:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Prof. Dr. Waleed Mirza Hamza (Chairman)<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Prof. Dr. Haider Hassan Shtawi (Member)<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Prof. Dr. Issa Turki Khalaf (Member)<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Asst. Prof. Dr. Sura Harith Abdul Kareem (Member)<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Asst. Prof. Dr. Nada Abdul-Kadhim Hussein (Member)<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Asst. Prof. Dr. Taghreed Mohammed Qaddouri (Member and Supervisor)<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">The dissertation aimed to identify key theoretical and scientific concepts related to the topic, study the legislative philosophy adopted by the state when imposing restrictions on property rights, and clarify the legal basis for the administrative authority\u2019s power to prohibit, restrict, or regulate property rights.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">The dissertation was structured into two chapters:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Chapter One discussed the authority of administrative regulation over property rights.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Chapter Two examined the restrictions imposed on private property.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">The dissertation concluded with several key recommendations, the most important of which were:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Codifying the concept of public order in the state through clear constitutional provisions and defining its role in the operations of administrative regulatory authority, along with establishing limits to prevent abuse of power under the guise of public order.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Ensuring that legislative policies respect the foundational principles set by lawmakers and\u00a0avoiding any overreach unless it aligns with the state\u2019s philosophy and serves the public interest.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Activating the role of relevant authorities in enforcing certain legislative restrictions on property, emphasizing their importance and the necessity of adhering to the legal texts.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The College of Law at the University of Baghdad discussed a doctoral dissertation titled \u201cThe Administrative Regulation of Property Rights &#8230; <a class=\"cz_readmore cz_readmore_no_icon\" href=\"https:\/\/en.colaw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=6814\"><span>more<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":157,"featured_media":6815,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_lmt_disableupdate":"","_lmt_disable":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[3,5,9],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-6814","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-latest-news","category-public","category-9"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.8 -
