On Thursday, April 24, 2025, the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit at the College of Law \u2013 University of Baghdad held a workshop titled \u201cAdvantages and Disadvantages of the Group Decision-Making Approach,\u201d<\/em> presented by Dr. Rabab Khalil Ibrahim at the college premises.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The workshop aimed to highlight the concept of group decision-making and its importance as a democratic approach in modern management, contributing to the development of the work environment and enhancing administrative performance.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The discussion covered the following key points:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Definition of group decision-making in administrative contexts and its distinction from individual decision-making.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Advantages of group decision-making, such as the diversity of perspectives and the promotion of transparency.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Challenges associated with this method, including time consumption and difficulty in reaching consensus.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Mechanisms to overcome these challenges and improve the effectiveness of collective decision-making.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The workshop concluded with several important recommendations, including:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Promoting a culture of teamwork in administrative environments.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
    2. Clearly defining roles and responsibilities within teams.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
    3. Utilizing diverse viewpoints to reach more mature decisions.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
    4. Adopting modern tools to support decision-making, such as electronic voting methods.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
    5. Providing training to develop communication and negotiation skills within work teams.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      This workshop is part of a series of scientific and developmental activities organized by the college to enhance administrative awareness and leadership skills among students and graduates.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
