The College of Law at the University of Baghdad discussed a master’s thesis in the criminal law branch of student Karim Jabbar Khalaf, tagged with (the crime of armed disobedience in Iraqi laws), on Thursday, 9\/22\/2022, in the conference hall in the college.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Esraa Muhammad Ali Salem as Chairman, Assistant Professor Dr. Qaid Hadi Dahesh as a member, Assistant Professor Dr. Samer Saadoun Abboud as a member, and Assistant Professor Dr. Sabah Sami Daoud as a member and supervisor.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This thesis aims to ensure the stability of security and safety within the state, and the legislator has been keen to protect the interests that achieve saturation and represented in this crime, to protect the existing authorities under the constitution and to ensure the exercise of their functions and competencies based on the constitution and the laws in force , It also highlights the importance of this crime and its study due to its seriousness represented in the crimes that occur during the commission of this crime.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The thesis also included two chapters, the first of which dealt with the nature of the crime of armed disobedience, while the second chapter dealt with the legal model of the crime of armed disobedience.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The most important recommendations of the study are that whoever initiates news of the crime of armed disobedience is exempted from civil responsibility in order to be encouraged to report the crime, define a disciplined standard for the crime of attempting to provoke armed disobedience stipulated in the Anti-Terrorism Law No. 13 of 2005 and distinguish it from the crime of disobedience The armed weapon mentioned in the Penal Code as one of the crimes against the internal security of the state.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
