On March 17, 2025, the Psychological Counselling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Law, University of Baghdad, organized an awareness seminar titled “Penalties Resulting from Violating University Student Discipline Regulations in Iraq.” The seminar was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Nada Abdul-Kadhim Hussein.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The seminar aimed to inform students about their obligations under the discipline regulations and to highlight the legal penalties associated with violating them.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The session included discussions on the importance of adhering to university regulations to ensure a healthy educational environment that enhances students’ academic path.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The seminar concluded with several recommendations, the most prominent being the need to intensify awareness seminars and workshops to inform students of their rights and duties, warn them about behaviors that contradict university regulations, and integrate these activities into the legal awareness programs implemented by the college. This is in line with the college’s educational and scientific responsibility to protect students and guide them toward adhering to academic and ethical standards, ensuring a stable and balanced learning environment.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
