The private law at the college of Law, University of Baghdad, held a scientific seminar entitled (The Right to choose and its impact on the binding force of the contract), delivered by the lecturer at the private law (Asst.lect. Noor Iyad Hassan), and in the presence of a number of graduate students, on Thursday, 2024\/03\/07 at the college of Law Building.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The seminar aims to show whether the option is a right, a license or an authority, and most of the jurisprudence is moving towards adapting the option as a right, and this has become clear even for the position of legislators, especially the Iraqi and Egyptian legislators, as although they did not know it explicitly, but their position appeared in the form of organizing applications for the option, in which they indicated that the option is the right to sign the contract or terminate it after a certain period ( trial option, condition option ) .<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The symposium reached several recommendations, the most important of which is the need for a legal regulation that builds that idea on legislative bases, and the need to provide the issue with legal rules for regulating options.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
