A group of students from the University of Baghdad \/ College of Law participated in the dialogue seminar held within the framework of cooperation with the American University \/ College of law … where the dialogue seminar tagged (legal obligations of states and companies in the field of mitigation of environmental impacts and harmful emissions) was held at the American University. The dialogue seminar was moderated by Dr. Khansa Mohammad Jassim, dean of the college of Law, Dr. Hadi Naim al-Maliki and Dr.Mahmoud Khalil Jafar and Dr. Nibras Ibrahim Muslim and Asst.Lect. Mohammed Ismail Jumma held the seminar in English and exchanged views and ideas on the mechanisms to combat climate change and the implementation of obligations under international environmental law and the effectiveness of those mechanisms and how to overcome failures in environmental conservation and face climate degradation. The participating students expressed their legal views, hopes and aspirations in the framework of improving the environment.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
