T<\/span>he <\/strong>college of law at the University of Baghdad discussed the doctoral thesis of the private law of the student (Ahmed Hashim Abdul), entitled with (contract for the availability of electronic works), on Sunday, 2023\/12\/24 at the conference hall at the college.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The dissertation aims to rely on the electronic works available on computers or CDs and the like as well as the works that the World Wide Web provides access to and highlights the importance of the contract for the availability of electronic works in protecting the Author against the publisher .<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The first chapter dealt with the concept of the contract for the availability of electronic works, the second chapter dealt with the effects of the availability of electronic works, while the third chapter dealt with the settlement of the contract for the availability of electronic works.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The dissertation came up with several recommendations, the most important of which is the proposes to the Iraqi legislator to add an explicit legal text that defines the concept of the contract for the availability of electronic works and defines the forms of this contract and its various features, and an explicit text that shows the ways of expressing electronic works, means of protection, methods of fixing them, the conditions of their legal protection and the duration of their protection and defines their special features.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
