Under the patronage of the dean of the college of law at the University of Baghdad, professor Dr. Ali Hadi Attiya, and within the executive plan of the national strategy for Iraqi women for the year 2023 \u2013 2024<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Women Empowerment unit at the college, within the axis of social care for women’s Health, held an awareness workshop in cooperation with the Department of Medical City \/ Baghdad Center for radiotherapy and nuclear medicine under the title ((the importance of sports for women’s mental and physical health)). The session was chaired by the official of the Women Empowerment unit (Dr. Rabab Khalil Ibrahim) and was delivered by the medical physicist Marwa Ahmed Abdul Nabi, on Wednesday, 2023\/12\/13 at the conference hall at the college.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The workshop aims to have a healthy body and mind that is able to practice its daily and professional activities, reduce the incidence of some serious diseases, reduce depression rates and ensure that women enjoy healthy lifestyles.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The workshop included several topics, including the benefits of physical and psychological sports, the importance of physical activity on the psychological side, the best sports for women’s health, and the goals that can be benefited from exercise.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The workshop came up with several recommendations, the most important of which is encouraging women to participate in sports and physical activities, achieving gender equality and empowering women and girls through sports.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
