The University of Baghdad\/ college of law discussed the doctoral dissertation in the criminal law of the student (Ali Muslim Jouni), which entitled (curriculum in criminal law), on Sunday, 2023\/11\/05 in the conference hall at the college.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The dissertation aims to allocate the scientific method in the service of criminal law in a way that is scientifically rooted to the subjectivity of criminal law, in addition to establishing a scientific criminal jurisprudence with cultural relativity determined by the nature and characteristics of its society in particular, and thus establishing a distinct Iraqi criminal jurisprudence.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The dissertation included four chapters, the first one dealt with the concept of method, the second chapter dealt with the sociological approach to the method in criminal law, the third chapter dealt with the standard in criminal law and the fourth chapter dealt with the criminal truth and the epistemology of criminal law.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The dissertation came up with several recommendations, the most important of which is the systematic introduction and establishment of new terms in criminal law, whether there is a wide gap between the common meaning and the scientific meaning systematically established, scientific and methodological planning in establishing a legal system based on what can be compared socially and functionally with the German legal system first and the American legal system second.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
