The scientific affairs unit is one of the important units at the college level because of its important role in communicating with the university through all the tasks that the unit carries out. Below we list the most important tasks for this unit.

  • Developing a plan for scientific conferences, seminars and workshops during the academic year with the scientific branches and supervising their implementation, then submitting the recommendations of those conferences and seminars to the Scientific Affairs Department at the university.
  • Following up on the accreditation of scientific journals that specialize in publishing research for Professors and raising the numbers of journals to the university.
  • Uploading the study leave plan for postgraduate applicants and checking it on the website.

  • Developing a scientific research plan for scientific disciplines, following up on its completion, and creating a database of completed and published research.
  • Issuing administrative orders for the editorial and advisory bodies of the journal, and administrative orders for evaluating scientific research fees.
  • Promoting the treatment of writing textbooks for Professors.
  • Sending approved curricula to all stages at the beginning of each academic year.
  • Develop a five-year plan for postgraduate admission.
  • Raising the scientific and educational achievements of Professors within the educational, scientific and cultural reality.
  • Informing the scientific affairs department at the university of the joint work carried out by the faculty members in other universities and sectors.
