Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Law at the University of Baghdad, and under the supervision and organization of the Department of International Law, the College of Law held its second annual conference for discussing graduation research projects on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, with wide participation from the college’s students.
The conference research papers addressed topics related to sustainable development and artificial intelligence within their legal frameworks. These studies reflected an advanced academic level and growing interest in contemporary issues that combine technological development with the requirements of modern development.
In his speech during the conference, the Dean of the College emphasized the importance of encouraging students to explore topics such as sustainable development and artificial intelligence because of their central role in advancing legal studies and keeping pace with rapid global transformations.
The conference sessions also witnessed constructive academic discussions that contributed to strengthening students’ research and legal analytical skills, as well as linking theoretical aspects with practical applications in a way that responds to current legal challenges.
