In addition, the workshop emphasized the importance of responsible and effective use of AI tools in academic research and writing.
The workshop covered several key topics, including the conceptual framework of generative AI, its applications in scientific research, and its use in academic and legal writing. It also addressed the challenges and risks associated with its use, introduced major tools and platforms that support academic research, and included practical demonstrations along with a discussion of ethical considerations in academic work.
At the conclusion of the workshop, several recommendations were presented. These included the need to enhance awareness of responsible academic use of AI, adopt reliable research tools linked to scientific databases, verify the accuracy of information and references before using them in research, and organize continuous training programs to develop researchers’ skills in using modern technologies in order to improve academic and research quality.
