The College of Law – University of Baghdad organized a seminar entitled:
“Academic Plagiarism: Understanding the Basics and Avoiding Common Mistakes,”
presented by Assistant Lecturer Tabarak Ali Qasim on Monday, 16 February 2026, at the College of Law building.
Aim of the Seminar
The seminar aimed to explain the concept of academic plagiarism and its various forms, identify common mistakes that may lead to unintentional plagiarism, and teach the correct methods of citation and paraphrasing.
