Professor Dr. Ali Hadi Atiya, Dean of the College of Law – University of Baghdad, is participating in the conference entitled “Developing Legal Studies in Egyptian and Arab Universities: Challenges and Future Visions,” held from 7–8 December 2025 at the Faculty of Law – Mansoura University, in cooperation with the Legal and Economic Studies Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities, based on an official invitation extended to him by the university.

Upon his arrival at the Faculty of Law, the Dean was received by Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, along with the vice deans and the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Universities. Discussions were held on ways to enhance academic cooperation, exchange expertise, and develop joint programs between the two universities at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Professor Dr. Ali Hadi Atiya is scheduled to chair the third scientific session of the conference, to be held on Monday, 8 December 2025, which will address prospects for developing legal curricula and future visions for legal education in Arab universities.

In addition, Professor Dr. Ali Hadi Atiya will participate as a member of the examination committee for the PhD dissertation entitled “Constitutional Protection of the Right to Social Justice,” submitted by researcher Ahmed Othman Fahim Hassan, scheduled to take place on 9 December 2025 at the Faculty of Law – Mansoura University.

This participation underscores the College of Law – University of Baghdad’s commitment to strengthening its regional academic presence and expanding its scholarly partnerships, contributing to the development of legal studies and the advancement of scientific research at the international level. It also comes within the framework of enhancing academic cooperation between the University of Baghdad and Mansoura University and consolidating scientific partnerships among Arab universities, reflecting the depth of the longstanding fraternal relations between Iraq and Egypt and the two institutions’ commitment to supporting development in the field of legal studies.
