All over the world, non-Iraqi students can apply for study at the University of Baghdad which provides a wide range of funded scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate studies, including tuition fees and housing expenses.
Here, in our college of law, students compete for positions of study that are offered for Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral; these are:
(a) four study positions for open specializations for Master and doctoral studies;
(b) five study positions for Bachelor studies that require applicants to complete the curricula within four years.
With reference to the study system, the college follows a two-semester system; the exam of the first semester is held in January while the second-semester exam is in June. In regard to the passing score and attendance, the minimum passing score is 50% and students are required to attend 90% of the scheduled lectures during the academic year in order to be able to participate in final exams.
The scholarship committee will review all applications and evaluate them according to a number of criteria, including applicants’ qualifications, applicants’ academic achievements, applicants’ language level, as well as requirements of the academic program. The committee may schedule virtual interviews with applicants for more information and details.
