As part of the activities of the Annual Unified Guidance Week, the Psychological Guidance Unit at the College of Law, University of Baghdad, organized a seminar entitled “E-Guidance to Support Students through Digital Platforms”, presented by Assistant Lecturer Zainab Rzouqi Shamik from the Department of Criminal Law, on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at the College of Law building.

The seminar addressed the concept of e-guidance as one of the modern methods adopted by universities to support their students, especially with the rapid development of digital technologies. The lecturer explained that digital platforms have become an effective means, providing students with quick and secure access to information and direct communication with advisors without time or location constraints.

The seminar also reviewed the main forms of e-guidance used within the university, including: email for confidential and direct communication, online consultation rooms, virtual meetings via platforms such as Zoom, intelligent support chatbots, as well as the production of digital guidance content such as short videos aimed at student awareness.

At the conclusion of the seminar, the lecturer emphasized the importance of expanding the use of e-guidance and developing the skills to apply it professionally, given its significant role in improving academic achievement, reducing stress, and facilitating the understanding of university regulations and instructions, thereby helping to build confident and successful university students.
