The mother college achieved the first level locally, followed by the faculties of law in the universities of Babylon and Al-Mustansiriya, and the sixth place at the level of the Arab region, while at the level of the Middle East it occupied the tenth place.
The Scimago classification is one of the objectives of the government program of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and is no less important than the Chinese Shanghai classification. Each main indicator includes sub-indicators such as the number of papers published, the quality of journals in which they are published, the number of reference citations, and relative influence coefficients, as well as publication requirements for at least 100 papers in the SCOPUS database within the evaluation year.
