As part of the ongoing scientific efforts aimed at serving society and keeping pace with the latest developments in legal sciences, a new scholarly book has recently been published under the title:
“The Theory of Digital Immortality: When Identity Challenges Time in the Age of Artificial Intelligence – Immortal Minds in a Perishable World: A Legal Approach.”

This joint work is authored by Prof. Dr. Jalil Hassan Al-Saadi, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the College of Law, University of Baghdad, Asst. Prof. Dr. Lubna Abdul-Hussein Al-Saidi, and Asst. Lecturer Haidar Salah Kadhim.

In an era where the boundaries between life and death are no longer as clear as they once were, this book explores one of the most controversial phenomena of the age of artificial intelligence.

In the past, immortality was a metaphysical dream confined to myth and theology, but today it is becoming a technological reality in the making.

This book is a serious invitation to reconsider the essence of humanity in the age of AI, and an urgent call to establish new legislative frameworks that balance technological advancement with human dignity. It is a book for anyone who seeks to understand that the human being is far more than mere digital data.
