The College of Law at the University of Baghdad organized an educational symposium entitled (Method of registration and distribution of the biometric voter card) in cooperation with the Independent High Commission for Elections, which is considered within the scientific cooperation between the college and official departments, on Thursday 8/12/2022 in the conference hall in the college.
Where the symposium was moderated by Assistant Professor Dr. Mossadeq Adel Talib, and the lecture was delivered by Mr. Karrar Jalal Karim and Ms. Arzo Karim Majeed, in the presence of many students.
The symposium aims at the importance and necessity of biometric registration, the mechanism for distributing the voter card, participation in the upcoming parliamentary elections, and reviewing the legal and technical problems of registration and ways to solve them.
The symposium also included several topics, including biometric registration, how to register voters, stages of voter register development, biometric voter registration and update cases, addition and deletion cases, and types of voter cards.
