As part of enhancing scientific and academic cooperation between the College of Law – University of Baghdad and academic and constitutional institutions, Assistant Professor of Constitutional Law Dr. Sura Harith Abdul Karim participated in the workshop entitled:
“The Importance of Monitoring the Implementation of Regulations and Instructions Issued by the Council of Representatives and the Mechanisms of Implementing Administrative Decisions.”
The workshop was organized by the Parliamentary Training Institute, in cooperation with the Legislative Affairs Directorate and Future Gateway Company, on Sunday, August 17, 2025.
The event was attended by a number of academics, representatives of the State Council, and relevant institutions, along with a group of legal professionals. The participants discussed the role of the executive authority in issuing regulations and instructions to facilitate the implementation of laws enacted by the Council of Representatives. They also addressed the significance of such regulations, the challenges in issuing them, and their impact on activating legislation and easing its application by the concerned authorities.
The session was further distinguished by its rich scientific contributions and legal insights, which deepened the discussion and clarified the practical aspects of the workshop’s theme.
