This morning, the College of Law—University of Baghdad observed a moment of silence in honor of the martyrs of Iraq and in condemnation of the heinous massacre committed by ISIS terrorist gangs against members of the Yazidi community, on the occasion of the anniversary of the genocide that claimed the lives of thousands of innocent Iraqis.

This humanitarian and solidarity stance comes in response to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research as part of commemorating this tragic event, recalling its painful chapters, and affirming the responsibility of academic institutions to uphold the values of justice, documentation, and the principle of no impunity.
