🎯 The thesis aimed to shed light on the key issues raised by the sports insurance contract, including the insurance of sports injuries, dispute resolution, understanding the challenges that parties to the contract may face, ways to resolve them, and explaining how the contract is formed and its legal consequences.
📚 The thesis was divided into two chapters:
•The first chapter discussed the nature of the sports insurance contract.
•The second chapter examined the provisions governing the contract.
💡 The thesis concluded with several recommendations, the most important of which are:
1.The Iraqi legislator should enact a comprehensive sports law that includes the legal aspects of all sports activities, including the sports insurance contract.
2.It is proposed that the Iraqi legislator should intervene legislatively to make sports insurance mandatory, similar to comparative laws such as those in France and Egypt.
3.The legislator should include a legal provision specifying the time limit for the insured party to notify the insurer of the occurrence of the insured risk.
