The workshop covered the following key topics:

  2. The importance of selecting a topic that addresses the gap.
  3. The level of scholarly contribution achieved by the research.
  4. Defining research objectives and supporting questions.
  5. Researcher self-assessment from an academic perspective.

At the conclusion of the workshop, the speaker offered several important recommendations, including:

  2. Striving for precision in accessing original researchers and primary sources.
  3. Ensuring the originality and feasibility of the idea before initiating research.
  4. Raising awareness of the researcher’s actual abilities and readiness to continue.
  5. Withdrawing early from underdeveloped research to avoid wasting time and institutional academic and financial resources.
