College of Law – University of Baghdad Participates in Parliamentary Workshop on Arbitration Mechanisms
The College of Law at the University of Baghdad participated in a workshop organized by the Institute for Parliamentary Development, in cooperation with the Beirut International Center for Studies and Training, held at the Iraqi Parliament building on Sunday, May 4, 2025, under the patronage of the Speaker of the Parliament.
The college was represented by Asst. Lecturer Asmaa Abdul Muhammad from the Private Law. The workshop addressed the principles and mechanisms of arbitration in legal, commercial, investment, and sports contexts, and explored ways to develop Iraq’s legal environment in line with international standards.
This participation reflects the College of Law’s ongoing commitment to engaging in legislative and training activities aimed at modernizing the legal system and promoting a culture of arbitration, thereby contributing to the development of specialized legal expertise within both official institutions and the broader community.
