The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Law, University of Baghdad, organized a workshop titled “Requirements for Successful Legal Research” on Thursday, April 17, 2025.
The workshop was delivered by the Head of the Public Law, Assistant Professor Dr. Taghreed Mohammed Qaddouri, at the College of Law building.

The aim of the workshop was to familiarize postgraduate students with the requirements for successful legal research, particularly in terms of selecting a suitable and up-to-date topic and title.

The workshop covered several key areas, including:

  1. An introduction to legal research and how it differs from other types of research.
  2. Substantive requirements for successful legal research.
  3. Formal requirements for successful legal research.

The workshop concluded with several key recommendations, most notably:

  1. Emphasizing the importance of selecting topics with practical applications.
  2. Encouraging the selection of modern topics related to technological and electronic developments, artificial intelligence, and highlighting their legal aspects.
