In an effort to promote a spirit of humanitarian initiative and social solidarity, the Volunteer Work Committee at the College of Law – University of Baghdad, organized a field visit to the Al-Ataa Elderly Care Home in the Al-Sulaikh area, under the Directorate of Rights for Persons with Disabilities and Special Needs / Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, on Thursday, April 10, 2025.
The visit included the distribution of food supplies in support of the residents of the home, as a gesture of appreciation and respect for the elderly, highlighting the importance of caring for this vulnerable segment of society. The initiative also emphasized the promotion of compassion and human connection among students.
This initiative is part of the ongoing activities organized by the college as part of its social responsibility, with the aim of embedding a culture of volunteer work within the university community.
