For the purpose of promoting the dissemination of constitutional and legal awareness regarding the new trends of the decisions of the Federal Supreme Court, the Dean of the College of Law at the University of Baghdad “Dr. Ali Hadi Al-Hilali” published the tagged study “The constitutional judiciary directs binding orders to the authorities in light of the rejected cases, Case 132 of 2022 as a model” on September 10 2022 on the official electronic link of the Federal Supreme Court https://www.iraqfsc.iq/news.4862/

This study aims to shed light on the position of the Constitution of the Republic of Iraq for the year 2005 and the trends of the Federal Supreme Court regarding directing orders to the authorities to perform a certain work or leave a certain work, as well as reviewing the constitutional and legal foundations on which the Court relied in creating and evaluating this authority.

The study resulted in several recommendations, perhaps the most important of which is the necessity of requesting the Federal Supreme Court to complete its mandate to enforce its rulings or to initiate judicial accountability against those who abstain from perjury.
