The Rehabilitation and Employment Unit at the College of Law – University of Baghdad organized a scientific workshop on Thursday, March 27, 2025, titled “Utilizing Artificial Intelligence in the Scientific Research Process,” presented by Assistant Lecturer Ola Mohammed Basel.

The workshop aimed to enhance practical understanding of artificial intelligence tools and their modern applications in scientific research. It emphasized the importance of leveraging these technologies to expand the scope of research, improve the quality and credibility of research results, through big data analysis, and reduce reliance on traditional methods.

The workshop covered several key topics, including:

  1. Expanding the scope of research and accelerating research completion using artificial intelligence.
  2. Supporting research skills such as critical thinking and data management.
  3. The challenges associated with relying on technology, including potential errors and financial and technical obstacles.

The workshop concluded with several recommendations, including:

  1. Establishing training programs to enhance skills in using artificial intelligence tools.
  2. Creating specialized research centers in this field.
  3. Providing supporting infrastructure for digital technologies and achieving a balance between technology and creativity in the research work of researchers and students.

This workshop is part of a series of scientific activities through which the college aims to enable students and researchers to keep up with modern technological developments and apply them in their academic fields.
