The College of Law at the University of Baghdad organized an extensive tree planting campaign on the occasion of Global Arbor Day, based on the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Presidency of the University of Baghdad. The aim was to raise environmental awareness and increase green spaces within the college.

🟣 The campaign involved several college members and students, who planted a variety of saplings, including bougainvillea, acacia, glasswort, and sunflowers, contributing to the improvement of the university environment and adding aesthetic value to the college corridors.

🟤 The Dean of the College of Law confirmed that this initiative is part of their ongoing efforts to support environmental sustainability and promote the culture of tree planting among students, in line with national efforts to preserve the environment and combat desertification.

🟠 Participants expressed their happiness in contributing to this event, highlighting the importance of tree planting in improving air quality and reducing pollution, as well as its role in raising environmental awareness among students.

🟢 It is worth noting that this campaign is part of a series of environmental activities organized by the college, emphasizing its commitment to developing a sustainable university environment that supports national environmental efforts.
