The Scientific Affairs Unit at the college of Law, University of Baghdad, organized a workshop on Thursday, February 27, 2025, titled “Leadership Skills and Teamwork,” presented by Assistant Lecturer Eman Hussam Hatim. The workshop aimed to enhance leadership skills and develop teamwork abilities among the participants.
The workshop covered essential topics, including the concepts of leadership and teamwork. It addressed the importance of leadership in work environments and reviewed the characteristics of an effective leader, which included active communication, motivation and inspiration, decision-making, and the ability to adapt to challenges.
The workshop focused on enhancing teamwork by building trust among team members, setting shared goals, and distributing tasks effectively to improve productivity and achieve mutual success.
The objectives of the workshop were:
- Developing effective leadership skills among the participants.
- Strengthening teamwork abilities and collaboration among individuals.
- Enabling participants to deal with challenges and work pressures.
- Improving communication skills and problem-solving within teams.
The workshop concluded with guidance on how to continue developing leadership skills and teamwork to ensure ongoing improvement in both individual and collective performance.
This workshop reflects the College of Law, University of Baghdad’s commitment to developing the abilities of students and staff in leadership and management areas, contributing to the preparation of qualified personnel to lead teams and achieve success in various work environments.
