The College of Law team – University of Baghdad participated today, Saturday, February 15, 2025, in the oral advocacy competition as part of the International Commercial Arbitration Competition in English for the Asia-Pacific region. The competition is organized by the Borneo International Arbitration and Mediation Center, with the participation of 140 universities from around the world.
In the first round, the team faced off against their counterparts from Peking University, China, as the opposing party in the arbitration. The team delivered an outstanding and honourable performance, which received praise and recognition, reflecting the level of preparation and legal skills the team possesses.
The team members representing the College of Law in this competition are:

- Hiba Ali Mohammed – Second Year
- Rania Ali Yaseen – Second Year
