As part of the collaboration between the College of Law at the University of Baghdad and the Independent High Electoral Commission, and in coordination with the Legal Clinic Unit at the college, the college hosted a mobile team from the commission on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. The initiative aimed to facilitate voter registration procedures and the issuance or updating of electoral cards for students and staff who wish to participate.
This initiative will continue for one week, during which interested individuals can submit the required official documents to complete the electoral procedures.
Professor Dr. Ali Hadi Atiya, Dean of the college, emphasized the importance of this step in promoting democratic participation among students. He also highlighted the role of the Legal Clinic Unit in providing legal and awareness support to ensure the smooth and organized conduct of the process.
The dean urged all students and staff to take advantage of this opportunity, confirming that these efforts are part of supporting the electoral process and enhancing legal awareness among students.
