Professor Dr. Ali Hadi Attia, Dean of the College of Law and a member of the National Team for Preparing a Strategy to Strengthen the Rule of Law and Establish Justice, participated in a workshop held in the Kurdistan Region on December 22, 2024. The workshop focused on evaluating the strategic model for the implementation of the plan’s provisions within the framework of the government curriculum. This evaluation was substantiated through the initiatives of the government team, as well as those of civil society organizations, particularly the Investigator Organization to Support the Rule of Law and Democracy. Discussions during the workshop encompassed projects aimed at amending relevant legislation, bolstering the independence of the judiciary, combating corruption, and ensuring the economic, social, and cultural rights of all segments of the population, aligning with the policy of openness and the democratic system in Iraq.
