The Psychological Guidance and Educational Counseling Unit at the College of Law, University of Baghdad, held a workshop titled “University Student Behavior According to the Student Discipline Regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.” The session was chaired by the lecturer in the Criminal Law, Assistant lecturer Zainab Rzouqi Shamkh, and presented by the lecturer in the Public Law, Dr. Rabab Khalil Ibrahim, on Thursday, December 19, 2024, in the model courtroom at the college.
The workshop aimed to promote legal culture regarding the types of behavior that university students are required to adhere to both on and off campus.
The workshop covered the types of behaviors that university students should embody, followed by an explanation of the penalties that a university student may face and their negative impacts on the student’s future.
The workshop concluded with a recommendation to ensure that students are informed about the Student Discipline Regulations in the Ministry of Higher Education, No. 60 of 2007, by posting them on student bulletin boards to facilitate their understanding and application by the students.
