The lecturer Dr. Rabab Khalil Ibrahim, the head of the women’s Affairs Unit at our college, participated in the periodic meeting of the women’s affairs units, which was held on Thursday, 5/12/2024 at the University of Baghdad.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Nada Al-Abdi, director of the Women’s Affairs Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Ms. Sinaa Al-Hammami, director of the Women’s Affairs Division at the University of Baghdad. The meeting discussed the ways to solve the challenges facing Iraqi women at all levels and effective mechanisms to enhance and facilitate the work of women’s affairs units at colleges.
The meeting came up with a set of recommendations, the most important of which are:
1 – the need for women’s affairs activities to be aimed at university students (female and male) in the first place.
2 – the need to encourage students to publish meaningful content and highlight the role models of male and female students for the purpose of publishing positive examples to be taken as role models.
