The college of law at the University of Baghdad held a workshop entitled (Introduction to the Tasks of the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit), delivered by the lecturer in Criminal Law (Asst.Lect. Russul Khaled Ibrahim), and in the presence of first-stage students, on Tuesday, 19/11/2024 in the building of the college.
The workshop aimed to introduce the tasks of the qualification and employment unit, represented by holding courses and workshops for students and graduates in order to develop their abilities and skills in line with the labor market.
The workshop included several axes, the first axis dealt with the preparation of rehabilitation workshops and courses for the purpose of developing students ‘and graduates’ self-skills, giving them the opportunity to get jobs in the public and private sectors, the second axis was coordination with the rehabilitation and Employment Division at the University in order to market graduates and train them in government institutions and the private sector, and the third axis dealt with the preparation of an accurate and comprehensive database of graduates who were trained in coordination with the Rehabilitation Division at the University.
The workshop came up with several recommendations, the most important of which was to urge students to communicate with the rehabilitation and employment unit at the college by attending the workshops and courses held by it.
