The qualification and employment unit at the college of Law, University of Baghdad, held a workshop entitled (legal aspects in digital marketing) delivered by the lecturer in the private law (Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Issa), for students of the fourth stage, on Sunday 6/10/2024 in the building of the college of law.

The workshop aimed to shed light on the meaning of digital marketing and review the legal position of it, whether within the scope of laws or international agreements, while indicating the legal gaps and the position of Iraqi law on it.

The workshop included several topics, including the introduction of digital marketing, the means of digital marketing, the position of legislative aspects in the subject of digital marketing .

The workshop came up with several recommendations, the most important of which is to call on the Iraqi legislator to amend some legal texts in the relevant laws in order to preserve the rights in this subject or legislate the law that protects aspects of privacy, cyber security and others in it.
