The Continuing Education Unit at the college of Law, University of Baghdad, held a workshop entitled scientific treason (introduction to the law of discipline of state employees), the session was chaired by (Asst. lect. Sura Adeeb Hamid, head of the Continuing Education Unit at the college, was appointed by each of the lecturers (lect. Sahar Fouad Majid) and (Asst.lect. Russul Khaled Ibrahim), in the presence of college lecturers and staff, on Thursday, 27/6/2024 at the model courtroom at the college.
The workshop aims to introduce the employee’s rights and duties, indicate the penalties imposed on them in case of violation of his job obligations and duties, and indicate the procedures for filing a complaint.
The workshop included several topics, including the employee’s rights and duties, the penalties imposed on him in case of violation of his job obligations, the mechanism of filing a complaint and complaining about the punishment.
The workshop came up with several recommendations, the most important of which is that the public job is based on a subordinate organizational hierarchy and a boss and the subordinate employee must obey his superiors, execute their orders accurately and honestly and stay away from what would prejudice the job in order to run the public facility and achieve the public interest and avoid falling under the penalty of disciplinary sanctions, that the duty of obedience must be within the limits of the law, and he should treat his subordinates with kindness and respect.
