The qualification and employment unit at the College of Law, University of Baghdad, held a scientific seminar entitled (advantages and Disadvantages of the collective method of Decision-making), delivered by a lecturer in Public Law (Dr. Omar Mehdi Hamdi), on Tuesday, 28/5/2024 in the model courtroom at the college.
The seminar aims to emphasize the advantage of the collective method in making public management decisions because it achieves a democratic atmosphere in which it is possible to identify the orientations of subordinates and urge them to perform well and work effectively.
The seminar included several topics, including the advantages of the collective method of decision-making in public administration, and the disadvantages of the collective method of decision-making.
The seminar came up with several recommendations, the most important of which is to encourage the adoption of a collective method of decision-making by comparing its advantages with disadvantages.
