The college of law at the University of Baghdad held a scientific seminar entitled (legal translation and its challenges) delivered by the lecturer (Asst.lect. Tabarek Ali Qasim) on Thursday, 2/5/2024 in the building of the college of law.
The seminar aims to introduce legal translation, its importance and features, give examples about it, and also touches on the approved translation conditions. The seminar reviews the difficulties and challenges of Legal Translation and ends with recommendations on how to overcome these difficulties, for example, hiring a professional legal translator, communicating with a legal expert, as well as contracting with companies that provide translation services.
