The college of law at the University of Baghdad held a seminar entitled (using the English language when interviewing for a job “using the artificial intelligence program to train the language”), delivered by the lecturer (Asst.lect. Eman Hussam Hatem), and in the presence of the lecturers and students, on Thursday, 25/4/2024 in the building of the college of law.
The seminar aims to commend students who want to apply for a job that requires English proficiency and language training by listening and continuous practice in speaking English with friends in order that there is no obstacle at the interview.
The seminar included several topics, the most important of which is before heading to the job interview, the job applicant should prepare well by writing down the most important and most common questions in interviews, because most employers and companies tend to ask similar questions in job interviews، whether these interviews are in Arabic, English or any other foreign language.
The seminar came up with several recommendations, the most important of which is the applicant for job should get rid of stress because stress in these cases will affect him, and it will look clearly even if he/she is fluent in English, and also they should pay attention to body language as it plays an important role in the interview, but in fact it is more important role in interviews conducted in a language other than the native language, because it facilitates a lot of things. The smile during the interview is a universal language that everyone understands and gives the impression that the person is optimistic and ahead of life.
